Description

Barclays Bank House is a building originally constructed as a house in the early 18th century, now serving as a bank. It is made of coursed squared limestone rubble with timber lintels and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range. The ground floor, which has been altered in the 20th century, includes a door to the right of three broad windows. On the first floor, there are two glazing-bar sash windows. The building also has two hipped roof dormers, each with glazing-bar sashes, and a gable end stack on the right. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
