Description
Gentleman's Hairdresser and Redleaf Cottage is a house that has been converted into a shop and residence. It dates from the late 17th century and has undergone later alterations. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features a concrete tile roof. It stands two storeys high and has a two-window range. On the right side, there is a recessed 19th-century half-glazed door, while on the left, there is a 20th-century shop window. The first floor has one 16-pane sash window on the left and a smaller blocked window on the right, which is clearly visible from inside. The right gable includes a fragment of a stone slate roof from former cottages that were adjacent to the Corner House. Inside, the first floor showcases exposed stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
