Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of West End in Witney. The house is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled Welsh slate roof and brick and rendered end stacks. It has a two-unit plan and a two-window range over two storeys. A console-bracketed, flat hood shelters the 6-panelled front door, which has an overlight above it. A timber lintel sits above a plank door giving access to a passage connecting to number 24A to the left. The windows are mid-19th century two-pane sashes, also with timber lintels. The interior has not been inspected. The house is included on the list for its group value.
