Description
This stable and hayloft, located approximately 20 meters northwest of Malt House Farmhouse, dates back to 1737. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features a thatched roof. The building consists of three bays with a narrow addition on the right side. It is a single storey with a loft. The original section has walls that are partly crumbling, with a doorway and windows on both the left and right sides. The addition includes a doorway with a wooden lintel and a window above it. The collar-truss roof is in poor condition. A datestone marked 'SS 1737' was formerly positioned above the doorway.
