6/93 Stable, approximately - 10m north of Low End Farmhouse

GV II

Stable and hayloft. Early C19 incorporating datestone of 1666 and some earlier fabric. Coursed stone, block dressings; blue machine tile roof with low, moulded verge parapets and shaped kneelers, Single-cell plan. Gabled, two-storey frontage with Tudor-arched door to left dated over Tudor arch lintol "IS 1666".- Central upper door to hay loft and stone steps, both early C19; 3-row dovecote of 6 boxes and 3 ledges in apex; further door with rounded inner angles set below stairs. Later, lean- to additions to either side. Interior: deep chamfered spine beams and plain joists.
