Description
The former Methodist Chapel, dated 1834, is a non-conformist chapel constructed from coursed limestone with sandstone dressings and features a blue machine tile roof with verge parapets. The building has a single-storey gabled front, with raised chamfered quoins and a round-arched entrance that includes a reeded surround, keystone, fanlight, and a four-panel door. The sides of the chapel have quoined surrounds for two glazing bar sash windows. Above the entrance, there is a datestone that has been partly defaced by Methodists. Inside, the floor level is raised to within one meter of the door, and there is a plastered ceiling.
