Description
Scaldersitch Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1661, with significant rebuilding in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed stone with block dressings and features a blue machine tile roof, verge parapets, a stone stack at the right end, and a ridge stack to the left of the center. The front is two stories high with four windows, which include paired lights (with a single light over the door) and mullioned glazing bar sashes, though the left end bay has been replaced by casements. The entrance is located to the left of center and has a boarded door with a Tudor-arched head. Above the door, there is an inscription in the lintel reading "I O M 1661" and a stone fleur-de-lys finial at the left apex. There is also a short wing at the rear.
