Description
Manor Farm is a farmhouse dated 1662, although it was rebuilt in the early 18th century and refaced in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick with stone quoins and dressings, topped with a tiled roof that features cogged eaves courses and retains parts of the original ovolo cornice on the sides and top. It has corniced end stacks and a three-storey, three-window front with a configuration of 3, 2, 3 lights, showcasing late 19th-century labelled ovolo moulded mullioned windows. The ground floor features stone three-sided bay windows flanking a central entrance, which is accessed through a late 19th-century gabled single-storey porch where the datestone has been reset. The side elevation includes an ovolo string at first floor level and an additional entrance.
