Description
Folds End Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has origins in the 17th century, with alterations and additions from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed stone with dressings and features a blue machine-tile roof, verge parapets, and modillioned eaves, along with a banded stone ridge stack. The building has an L-shaped plan with 20th-century lean-to additions.
The entrance front is set back and two-storey, with a projecting gable and a lean-to on the right. On the first floor, there is a three-light chamfered mullioned and transomed window at the left end of the entrance, while below it is a single-light window with a chamfered reveal and a moulded label. The entrance is located at the return angle and features a 20th-century glazed door. At the rear, there are two 2-light block mullioned sash windows.
