Description
The Raikes Farmhouse and attached stables is a farmhouse and stables built in the early 19th century. It features coursed stone with block dressings and a blue machine tile roof, along with brick stacks at both ends and in the center of the house. The farmhouse is two stories high with a three-window front, showcasing glazing bar sash windows. To the right of the center, there is a trellised entrance leading to a hipped porch and a six-panelled door with glazed top lights. The stable, which runs under a continuous ridge to the left of the farmhouse, has a boarded door and a glazing bar sash window similar to those on the house, as well as a boarded hay loft door on the first floor.
