Description

Plum Tree Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage constructed of coursed stone with block dressings. It features a blue machine tile roof and verge parapets, along with brick stacks at each end. The cottage is two stories tall and has a one-window front, with the entrance located to the right. The windows are two-light block mullions, and the doorway is Tudor-arched, leading to a boarded door with battens that extend up to the arched heads. The cottage was originally part of a larger unit to the right, of which the foundations still remain. It is situated within a close-knit hamlet.
