Description
15 The Green is a small house and cottage that has been combined into one dwelling. It dates from the early 18th century and was altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features a concrete pantile roof with rubble ridge stacks. It has a three-unit and a single-unit plan, with two storeys that have been partly lowered.
The front of the larger two-storey section has three windows. On the first floor, there are two-light leaded casements, while the ground floor features three-light casements in the outer bays, a single-light window, a two-light casement, and the entrance in the middle bay. To the right, there is a lower section that has two 20th-century ground-floor windows but was previously a separate cottage. The steep-pitched roof has two stacks.
Inside, the building has chamfered beams, and the cottage bay includes a large open fireplace.
