Description

Sunnyside is a small house dating from the 17th century, with probable alterations from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring wooden lintels and some ashlar dressings, and has a concrete pantile roof with a rebuilt ridge stack. The house has a two-unit gable-fronted plan and is one storey plus an attic. The entrance front has a doorway on the left, a leaded three-light stone-mullioned window on the right, and a similar window at the first floor, both with labels. Near the apex of the gable is a small moulded-stone window with a flat hoodmould. The left side of the house has three renewed casements and a half dormer. Inside, there is a chamfered spine beam and a large central stack.
