Description
Kings House is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is built of limestone ashlar and coursed squared limestone, topped with Welsh-slate roofs and features brick and ashlar gable stacks. The house likely has a central-stair plan along with a subsidiary range. The main range has a symmetrical three-storey, three-window ashlar front, which includes pilasters, a cornice, and moulded storeybands. The ground and first floors have tall transomed two-light casements, while the second floor features shorter windows. A central four-panel door with an overlight is also present. The shallow-pitched roof has gable parapets, while the sides and rear of the building are constructed of rubble. To the left, there is a low irregular two-storey service wing. The interior has not been inspected.
