Description

This barn, located approximately 10 meters northeast of Pomfret Castle, is likely from the 17th century. It is constructed from coursed squared marlstone rubble and features a corrugated plastic roof. The barn has a three-bay plan with central doors on opposite sides. The right gable includes a parapet. Inside, the trusses have collars and ties, while the remaining timber elements are from the 20th century. This building is included for its group value with Pomfret Castle.
