Description

Two houses, Woodlea and Corner Cottage, were built in the early 18th century. They are constructed of coursed squared marlstone and limestone with wooden lintels. The roofs are covered in Stonesfield slate, concrete plain tiles, and corrugated iron, with brick stacks. The houses are arranged with a single-unit plan and an L-plan.

Woodlea has a two-window front. The entrance is on the right, and the entrance to Corner Cottage is on the left, flanking a three-light casement window. Two two-light casement windows are located on the first floor. All windows have leaded glazing. The stone-slated roof has a stack on the right.

Corner Cottage has a two-window front with three-light casement windows on the ground floor and two-light casement windows above, all with leaded glazing. A tiled roof is present with a stack to the right and a hipped section to the left, extending to a long rear range. The end section of the rear range has a corrugated iron roof. The interiors remain uninspected.
