Description
This barn, located approximately 50 meters north-west of Pomona Farmhouse, is possibly from the 17th century and has undergone minor alterations in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with a sandstone plinth and painted brick infill, with mostly brick gable ends and a roof covered in stone slates. The barn consists of three framed bays aligned east to west, along with two additional bays that have a slightly lower roof level extending to the east. It is two storeys high. The north front has three windows to the left and one window to the right of the doorway. The framing is fairly complete, with three square panels from the sill to the wall-plate, two struts to the collar, and V-struts in the east gable end. There are 20th-century additions to the rear that are not of special interest. Pomona Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
