Description

Hagley Hall is a house with a 17th-century core, significantly remodelled in the late 18th century. The structure is principally timber-framed and largely refaced with brick, topped with a slate mansard roof and a sandstone plinth. It consists of a single-depth main house with rear extensions, centred around an entrance and featuring end stacks. The house is two storeys high and includes a central blind semi-circular-headed arch. It has 1:1:1 glazing bar sash windows with flat gauged brick arches to the outer windows and a cambered arch above the central window. The entrance is defined by a pedimented surround with a semi-circular head to the doorway, a decorative fanlight, and a six-panelled door. The entrance is flanked by semi-circular-headed lights with 20th-century lattice glazing.
