Description

Hagley Court is a country house, originally built in the early 18th century and later remodelled and extended in the early 19th century. It has since been divided into two separate dwellings. The original section is constructed of coursed and dressed sandstone rubble, while the 19th-century remodelling features a stuccoed facade. The building is topped with hipped slate roofs, and its plan is generally double-pile, with the 19th-century facade facing west and the original 18th-century section visible at the rear (east). End stacks are present.

The west front is two stories high and features plain pilasters, a moulded cornice, and a blocking course. The window arrangement is a 2:1:1 pattern, with glazing bar sashes on the upper floor, plain sashes on the left-hand side, and a plain tripartite sash window to the right of a projecting porch. The porch features Tuscan pilasters, a cornice, and a blocking course, along with a decorative overlight and a six-panelled door.

The east front is three stories high and has three glazing bar sash windows with flat arches. It also includes an open portico with a half-glazed inner door.
