Description

HARWELL CHURCH LANE SU4988 (South side) 10/100 24/11/66 (Formerly listed as Willowbrook and Wells Head) 6V II House. Early C14 to right, encased in C18 brick; extended c.1560. C18 brick to ground floor, and to first floor right; close-studded timber-framing to first floor, with rendered infill; old plain-tile hipped roof; brick ridge stacks to left, and to right of centre, 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. C20 plank door to right of centre. C20 three-light casements to ground floor, except 2-light casement with segmental brick head, and single-light casement to right, and 11-pane window to left. 3-light wood casements to first floor left, centre and right. 2-light wood casements to first floor left and right of centre. 2 gabled full dormers. Interior not inspected but noted as having original fireplaces to ground and first floors, and survival of original corridor to first floor.
