Description
The Dell is a house dating from around 1450, with alterations made in the 17th century. It features a plinth made of uncoursed rubble stone and has irregular large timber-framing with rendered infill. The roof is thatched and half-hipped on the right, with a brick ridge stack located at the center. The layout is likely a lobby-entry plan. The house is a single storey with an attic and has a four-window range. There is a plank door with a Tudor-arch head, and the ground floor has three-light casements, except for a two-light casement on the left. The left and right sides have swept dormers, with the right dormer having two lights and the left dormer having three lights. The left return features a full cruck truss, as does the right return. The interior has not been inspected.
