Description

Fairlawn is a late 18th-century house located on the north side of Church Lane, Harwell. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond, distinguished by flared brick headers. The roof is covered with old plain tiles, and the house has brick end stacks. The principal facade has three bays and two storeys. A six-panel door is centrally positioned, above which is a fanlight. Most windows are 16-pane sashes with flat brick arches; however, the first-floor centre window is a 12-pane sash. The interior has not been inspected.
