Description

Wellshead House is a house with an early 19th-century front range and a probable early 17th-century cross-range to the rear. It is constructed of red brick with stone quoins, and has an old plain-tile roof and brick stacks to the rear. The two--storey, three-window front range features a central six-panel door with flanking lights, set beneath a flat stone arch with a keystone. The ground floor has tripartite unhorned sash windows with glazing bars and stone lintels on either side of the door. A flat stone band runs between the ground and first floors. The first floor also has 16-pane unhorned sash windows with stone lintels. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
