GV II

House. C16 origin with C17 extensions and alterations, C20 addition to right end. Timber framed, some exposed to left with brick infill, brown brick cladding to centre and right. Plain tiled roof with tile hung gables, some in fishscale pattern. L shaped plan, wing to rear right. Two storeys, partly over cellar to left, plinth and brick dentilled eaves. Ridge stacks to left of centre. Square, gabled, C17 stair - vice' Projecting to front left with one window on first floor. One casement window to first floor right, two below under cambered heads, one window to ground floor left. Gabled extension set back to right with irregular casement fenestration, two windows on each floor. Half glazed door with margin light under cambered head to junction with main range. Left Hand return front : Tile hung gable, plat band over first floor. One 3 Light casement window on each floor. Pentice roof porch to ground floor with glazed door. Rear : Stack to re-entrant angle, some galleted clunch and ironstone rubble walling with brick dressings. Interior : Ceiling frames with central moulded spine beam in ground floor room . Deep brickfireplace. Cambered tie beam to first floor. Plaster panel over first floor fireplace with date marked " I.D. 1663, B.I.D. 1663.".
