Description

Manor Farm Cottages are a pair of early 18th-century cottages situated within Manor Fields, Seale and Sands. The cottages are timber-framed and were refronted in red and blue brick, with sections of colour-washed brick, coursed ironstone, and clunch return walls; the gable ends are rendered. The roof is covered in plain tiles and is half-hipped.

The cottages are built on a plinth with a plat band above the ground floor. A large, central chimney stack rises under a corbelled top. The front elevation is regular, featuring three casement windows on the first floor and one two-light and one three-light window on the ground floor, all set under cambered heads. A boarded door is located to the left, sheltered by an open gabled hood, and a panelled door is to the right, also protected by a similar hood supported on brackets. Brick extensions are present to the rear right, and a pentice roof extension projects from the rear left.
