Description

Church Cottage and Talbot House are a pair of cottages dating primarily to the 18th century, with later alterations. They are constructed of rendered brick with a pantile roof. The cottages are two storeys high and present a symmetrical facade featuring eight three-light mullion and transom windows, fitted with metal casements, except for two Victorian sash windows. The front doors are Victorian, panelled, and contained within doorcases with flat hoods supported by fluted Doric pilasters. A moulded brick string course and a dentil and moulded brick cornice run along the facade. A steeply pitched roof features a pair of gable-end stacks and a central axial stack. A rear extension is also present.
