Description
This milestone, located approximately 160 meters southwest of Redhill Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century. It is made of limestone and features a slightly tapering circular shape with a rounded top. The inscription on the stone reads "L/Miles from/London/To Oxford/IIII". The road where this milestone stands was turnpiked by the Stokenchurch and Enslow Trust in 1719.
