Description
The Grove in Shotover Park is an 18th-century house that was extended in the 19th century. It is built from limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high, with a four-window front. The left side has two older bays, which include a four-panel door and 12-pane sash windows on both the ground and first floors. The later bays also have similar sash windows, all of which are topped with stone flat arches. The roof is hipped, with ridge and end stacks, and it returns to two gables at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
