Description
Hillside Cottage is an ornamental cottage, built around 1830. It is constructed from roughly squared limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, and has a thatched roof with a stone ridge stack. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with attic space. The front facade has two windows, and a gabled projection to the left. The windows have replaced casements set beneath stone flat arches. The return front to the left, facing the road, features a stone porch with a round-arched doorway containing a four-panel door and overlight. The porch and main roof have half-hipped gables. A single-storey rear projection has two adjacent hipped roofs. The interior has not been inspected.
