Description

The churchyard wall, including the gateway and raised pavement to the south and east of the Church of St. Nicholas, dates from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble and reaches a height of up to 3 meters. The wall serves as a retaining structure above a raised pavement that is approximately 1 meter high, featuring a pitched stone surface that ends in stone steps at the lower end. At the upper end of the wall on the east side, there is a gateway that includes a 19th-century wrought-iron gate and an overthrow.
