Description
Epwell Grounds Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed from squared coursed ironstone and ashlar, topped with a slate roof featuring stone coped gables and moulded kneelers. The building has stone end stacks set on chamfered stone bases and follows a central staircase plan. It stands three storeys high and has a three-window range. A gabled stone porch leads to a panelled and glazed door, which is flanked by tall, narrow sash windows that have glazing bars and keyblock stone heads. There are three similar windows on the first and attic floors. At the rear, there is a 19th-century range that includes casement windows with arched stone heads and sashes in wood frames. The interior has not been inspected.
