Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, although it has older origins. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone with a plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and is three stories high with a four-window range.
There is a four-panel, part-glazed door located to the right of the center, which features a stone lintel and is approached by two stone steps. This door is sheltered by a timber trellis porch topped with a curved lead roof. The ground floor has three-light casement windows, while the first and second floors also feature three-light casement windows, with limestone lintels on the ground floor, ironstone lintels on the first floor, and segmental-arched brick heads on the second floor. To the left, there is a two-light stone mullion cellar window with a wave-moulded stone surround, and a limestone storey band at the first floor level. The interior has not been inspected.
