Description
The Old Bakehouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 17th century with later alterations and repairs. It is constructed of squared, coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched roof covered with 20th-century tiles. The building has brick ridge stacks and a three-unit plan, standing two storeys high with a three-window range. There are two entrances, both fitted with 20th-century doors and wooden lintels. To the left, there is a five-light fixed window, and to the right, a three-light casement window. The first floor includes a blocked window, a small two-light casement, and another 20th-century casement. All windows are topped with wooden lintels, and the building has ironstone quoins. The interior has not been inspected.
