SHUTFORD MALTHOUSE LANE SP3839 (South side) 13/136 The Old Bakehouse GV II Marked on O.S. map as Ye Olde Cottage. Farmhouse, now house. Late C17 with later alterations and repairs. Squared, coursed ironstone rubble. Steeply pitched C20-tile roof. Brick ridge stacks. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range. 2 entrances, both have C20 doors and wood lintels. To left a 5-light fixed window, to right a 3-light casement. First floor has a blocked window, a small 2-light casement and a C20 casement. All windows have wood lintels. Ironstone quoins. Interior not inspected.
