Description
Round Hill Farmhouse is a house, formerly a farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century and extensively renovated in 1978. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone with a pantile roof and features brick ridge and end stacks. The building has a two-unit lobby-entry plan and is two storeys high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The central door, which is from the 20th century, has a timber lintel and is flanked by 20th-century three-light casement windows, also with renewed timber lintels. On the first floor, there is a five-light chamfered mullion window with a hood mould to the left, and to the right, a 20th-century three-light casement window with a hood mould. Inside, the farmhouse includes stop-chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace featuring a cambered stop-chamfered bressumer.
