Description
Laurel Cottage is a house dated 1770. It is constructed of regular coursed ironstone rubble faced with ashlar and has a Welsh slate roof. The building features a stone stack on the left and brick stacks at the ridge and on the right. The house has a two-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic with a two-window range. To the left, there is a four-panelled door with a moulded wood surround and a keystoned stone surround. To the right, there are two 2-light casements from the 20th century. The attic includes two 2-light casements, and there is an illegible datestone between the attic windows with a moulded hood. A fire plaque is located above the door.
