GV II

House. Datestone 1653/PP/IPAP, remodelled and extended C18. Regular coursed ironstone rubble. Steeply pitched artificial stone slate roof laid to diminishing courses. Stone stacks to right and ridge. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic, 3-window range. 2 gabled bays to right. Bay to left has doorway with 4-centred head, chamfered jambs and plank door. Bay window to right has renewed 4-light stone mullion window with small opening casement. 2 similar windows to first floors of both bays. Attic storeys of bays have 2-light stone mullioned windows with hood moulds and label stops. Wrought iron casement fasteners. Between the bays is a blocked square-framed stone window. To left a 4-light stone mullioned window with hood mould and label stops to ground floor and a similar 3-light window to first floor. Rear: C18 single-storey extension has casement windows with lead cames. Most windows are of limestone, some with renewed stone. Moulded bands to ground floor and attic of bays.
