Description
Barford House is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, featuring a re-set datestone from 1600 marked with "TSA". The building is constructed from regularly coursed ironstone rubble and has a steeply pitched stone slate roof laid in diminishing courses. It has four brick stacks located at the ends and along the ridge. The layout consists of four units and is a single storey with an attic.
The facade includes a five-window range, with a 20th-century door on the right that has a wooden lintel. This door is flanked by three-light casement windows, also with wooden lintels. To the left, there is a similar three-light window, a small 20th-century window, and a tall wooden-framed window. The attic features four three-light metal casements and a small two-light casement. Most of the windows have original wooden lintels and wrought iron casement fasteners. The interior has not been inspected.
