Description

Dyer's Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse located in Barford St. Michael. It is constructed from regularly coursed ironstone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof with two moulded stone end stacks and stone copings. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic high, with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with two glazed lights and a moulded wooden frame. This doorway is flanked by wooden casements with three lights each. The first floor and attic also have three-light wooden casements. Most openings are adorned with stone surrounds and stone sills, and there are flat bands between the storeys. The interior has not been inspected.
