Description

This is a 17th-century house located to the right of The Old Sweet Shop on Netting Street in Hook Norton. The building is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a thatched roof. It has two brick stacks on stone bases, positioned at the end and to the left of the center. The house has a three-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic. Throughout the building, there are three-light wooden casements with wooden lintels, some of which have chamfers and stops. The entrance is located at the left end, featuring a plank door with a 20th-century wooden lintel and a 20th-century gabled porch. The interior has not been inspected.
