Description

The Baptist Chapel, rebuilt in 1781, features a re-set datestone from 1714. It is constructed of coursed regular ironstone rubble and has a 20th-century tile roof. The chapel consists of two bays and has two tall round-headed windows with intersecting glazing bars. The roof is hipped, and there is a porch on the right, also made of ironstone, with a 20th-century tile roof and a stone coping to the right. The round-headed doorway leads into the chapel and to stone steps that ascend to the gallery. Inside, the gallery is supported by cast iron columns and was repaired in 1856.
