Description
Marrie Mount is a house that likely dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble, featuring ironstone quoins and a stone slate roof that is laid in diminishing courses. The building has two brick stacks, one located to the left of the center and the other on the right gable end. It has a three-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic. On the first floor, there are three wooden casement windows, each with three lights and wooden lintels. There are two entrances: one at the left end and another off-center to the right. Between the doors, there are two additional three-light casements. The window on the right has stone surrounds, an inserted three-light casement, and a hood mould with label stops. The interior has not been inspected.
