Description
The Malthouse at Hook Norton Brewery is a building that now serves as a bottling plant and store. It was constructed around 1840 and again around 1900. The structure is made of coursed regular ironstone and features a stone slate roof laid in diminishing courses, with ironstone quoins. The building is designed in a U-shape and has two storeys plus an attic. The ground and first floors have cast iron window frames with glazing bars, while the attic features 2-light casements with wooden lintels. The doors and windows on the ground and first floors are adorned with arched blue and red brick voussoirs, and there is a brick dentilled cornice. This building is included for its group value as part of Hook Norton, a heritage brewery.
