Description
This cottage, located approximately 50 meters east of Tudor Cottage, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century and has undergone some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched corrugated asbestos roof with a brick ridge stack. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a three-window range. The entrance is off-centre to the left and includes a panelled door, a wood frame, and a 20th-century open porch. Flanking the entrance are 20th-century windows with wood lintels. On the first floor, there is a two-light casement window and two three-light casement windows, all with wood lintels. The rear of the cottage features wood mullioned windows. The interior has not been inspected.
