Description

Stone Hill Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of regular coursed ironstone rubble, with a Welsh slate roof and a central brick stack. The front of the house has two entrances. A continuous stone hood mould extends over a three-light stone mullioned window and the door on the left side. A later door and metal casement are located on the right. Two three-light stone mullioned windows, each with a hood mould and label stops, are set in the attic. A two-light metal casement is positioned to the right. 20th-century dormers have been added. The interior remains uninspected.
