Description
The Old Bakery is a house, probably dating from the 17th century, located on Bloxham High Street. It is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone rubble and features a 20th-century tiled roof. The building has three stacks: a brick stack on the left with a stone base, a brick ridge stack on a rendered stone base, and a brick stack on the right. The house has a three-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic, with a five-window range. A 20th-century door is situated to the left, flanked by two 20th-century casement windows. To the right, there is a 20th-century window and a canted bay window. The attic contains five 20th-century casements. At the rear, there is a blocked four-centred arched doorway along with 20th-century windows and doors. Inside, the property features chamfered beams and a bressumer, as well as a steep roof pitch.
