Description

Rose Cottage is a building that likely dates from the late 17th century or 18th century, although it has been remodeled in the 20th century. It is constructed from regular coursed ironstone rubble and features a thatched roof with two brick stacks at the ends. The cottage has a two-window range and a two-unit plan, standing as a single storey plus an attic. A 20th-century porch is located at the front, flanked by two wooden mullioned and transomed windows. There are two similar windows in the attic. To the right, there is a 20th-century garage extension and a dormer. The cottage is included for its group value.
