Description

Holly Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble, featuring a cornice that has been rebuilt in brick and a roof covered with corrugated tiles, along with flanking brick stacks. The cottage has two storeys and two bays, with 2-light casement windows that have wooden lintels on both floors. The entrance is located in a 20th-century extension at the rear. Inside, the cottage has been remodelled in the 20th century but retains stop-chamfered spine beams. The building is included for its group value.
