Description
Mulliners is a 17th-century cottage located on Oakham Lane in Staverton. The building is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a slate roof with flanking brick and stone stacks. It has two storeys and three bays. On the ground floor, there is a two-light stone-mullioned window with a moulded stone frame to the right of centre, while the outer bays have two-light casement windows with wood lintels. The first floor contains 20th-century two-light casement windows with wood lintels. At the rear, there is another two-light stone-mullioned window on the ground floor. Inside, the cottage has a chamfered spine beam and an open fireplace, which has been rebuilt in the 20th century. It is said to retain its original roof structure, featuring three blades of raised cruck that are boxed in on the first floor.
