Description

The Cottage is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century. Originally two cottages, it has been converted into one house. The exterior features regular coursed ironstone rubble and a 20th-century tile roof. It has two brick stacks on stone bases located at the ridge and to the left. The building has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The central doorway has a plain wood surround and is flanked by two three-light casement windows with wooden lintels. In the attic, there are two additional three-light casements that have wrought iron springs and catches. The roof has a steep pitch. The interior has not been inspected.
