Description

Church Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with 20th-century alterations. It is built from regularly coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched thatched roof that has been raised. The cottage has brick end stacks and a single-unit plan, with a single storey plus an attic. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century casement window with a painted wood lintel, and above it, a 20th-century half-dormer window. The entrance, located at the rear, has a 20th-century door and four 20th-century windows, all with painted wood lintels. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
